Texting a buddy.

Was gonna mention last night, but remember how I was trying to convince you and Zane to take a sporadic trip to NYC? Also asked a couple other friends, but they couldn’t get the time off work.

So a couple weeks ago I booked a flight on a Thursday and left that same Saturday lol. Was there Sat-Tues solo.

Stayed in a hostel in midtown Manhattan and worked remote from coffee shops. Wandered around upper east/west sides shooting photography.

Trying out restaurants.

Was honestly a blast. Such a good reset. And kinda glad I went solo (no offense). Just journaling and reflecting and exploring. Very present. Let the camera lead me around.
